We have the latest mechanical diagnostic equipment and attend regular training sessions to ensure that we can provide the highest quality experience to our customers and their vehicles.   Diagnosing problems in vehicles can be compared to finding problems within the human body.  You have symptoms: investigation, tests and  time are required to be able to locate the fault correctly and to then perform the correct procedures to rectify that fault.

We’ll check everything from rubbing, squeaking or rattling sounds through to engine start-up and misfire problems using a combination of experience and diagnostic equipment.

Fault codes are an extremely useful diagnostic tool and we make it our business to know what the technical jargon the scanner spits out means for your vehicle and it’s condition:

ELECTRICAL DIAGNOSIS

Our state of the art scanner tool gives us vehicle history, live data and registered fault codes so we know exactly how your car is feeling.  We read the vehicle’s ECU to find the cause of any lights on the dash or other mechanical problems.  It gives us everything we need to figure out what is causing the symptoms. 

MANUAL DIAGNOSIS

We have been doing this looong before all these fancy scan tools and vehicles were invented.  If there’s a squeak, rubbing or rattle coming from your vehicle, we love going old school and taking your vehicle for a test drive and manually identify the problem in conjunction with our electronic diagnose tools.  In some cases, we may ask you to come with us so you can replicate the issue and show us exactly what is happening so we can get to the root of the problem even faster.
